Clearogen is apparently the first acne treatment to officially get to the underlying causes of acne rather than just scratching at the surface and just treating the symptoms. It is formulated by board certified dermatologist, Alex Khadavi MD, and it will apparently combine scientifically proven natural ingredients with FDA approved 3 step acne treatments to get everything you need.

Price: $69.00

They seem to imply that their product is actually individually FDA approved. Proven ingredients of certain types such as benzoyl peroxide are FDA approved, not necessarily individual products. They apparently want to claim that they block DHT, reduce excess oil production, and otherwise. But those are not really the main internal causes of acne. It is just one basic approach.

As far as their proven formulas, they use the most common ingredients such as salicylic acid. It is proven, and it does not require a prescription by any means. They also use benzoyl peroxide, which again does not require a prescription, but is proven. But benzoyl peroxide causes skin irritation and other side effects, and moreover, they actually only use a fraction of the required amounts for each ingredient in general.

This formula will not help you to clear your acne. It will only frustrate your efforts. You would be better off buying just about anything else, and honestly we would suggest doing just that. It will help you to see the greater results you want without making the sacrifices you shouldn’t have to, especially for bad advertising.
