The Mario Badescu Acne Repair Kit claims to take it one step further and repair acne that is already there, even the worst acne. Apparently it clears acne overnight and conceals it while it heals, even if you have failed with everything else before. They use 3 basic products including a drying lotion, drying cream, and buffering lotion.

This formula is not the perfect kit. You would first of all actually need a cleanser to reduce and repair acne, which they don’t provide, at least not here. Moreover, they don’t have the right ingredients realistically speaking. Like their Acne Control Kit, they have highly common ingredients such as salicylic acid.

The difference is this time they definitely have irritating ingredients and preservatives for the most part. For example, they use titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide is an industrial grade preservative that does quite a bit of damage to your skin in general and certainly at best won’t help. It will produce redness, irritation, peeling, sensitivity to the sun, etc.

We would recommend staying away from the Mario Badescu Acne Repair Kit and line in general. They obviously don’t have the ability or willingness to produce a descent acne treatment. So how could they really produce real results with products that would require more work? It would just be a waste of your money.
